I’m a freelance professional photographer based in Oxford. Although I have lived here since 2011, I was born and raised in London, went to university in Coventry and prior to living in Oxford, lived in the Black-forest Germany for 19 years.

I first bought a SLR film camera when I was 18 years old, and very soon was hooked. I soon discovered that I loved capturing people especially in monochrome. Aged 20, I was asked to photograph a friend who needed a professional portrait. Then a year later I was asked with another photographer to capture a friend’s wedding. My first 5 weddings I took on film, slowly transitioning over to Digital DSLR. There I taught myself the art of digitally editing. In 2014 picked up a mirrorless camera and re-invigorated my passion for photography. Once again I always had a camera in my hand.

I have since covered more events and portraits, from sporting features to wedding and social gatherings, music festivals and gigs, baby bump and family shoots. I love to capture people in a relaxed atmosphere almost unaware that someone has a camera in their hands. I edit very subtly only correcting for the lighting and removing the necessary blemishes keeping people as they are in their natural beauty. As I always say, “The eye is the gateway to the soul and the laugh lines are how you got there!”
